This complex schedule-driven project outlined a large set of deliverables at multiple different stages. For the lime sludge pond we constructed a concrete slab that saw us bring in a mobile concrete plant to batch on-site, dropping roller compacted concrete and spreading it with a paving machine.
We supplied and installed hoarding shelters for winter work, and completed the concrete work for a number of buildings on-site, including a warehouse/maintenance building, water treatment building, process building, and a steam generation building.
PMCL also installed a septic field for this facility. Insulating piping underground required a few extra steps including excavation and the installation of precast manholes and catch basins. We supplied and installed deep well pump casings as well cementius and epoxy grout under pumps, compressors and structural supports to ensure our craftsmanship would stand the test of time.
The initial contract for this project was set for 8 months, but Statoil was confident with the capabilities and scope of our work and extended the contract to encompass the whole 2 year project.
